FAQ

  • Prior to the first session, you will receive some paperwork to complete. Our first session will be focused on gathering information on why you are seeking out services, going over paperwork and informed consent, and starting to build comfort and safety within the therapeutic relationship.

  • I take a personalized approach to therapy as therapy is not one size fits all. At the core, I utilize a person centered and relational approach to meet you where you are at each day. We may also use various expressive or skills building modalities, depending on what each client needs.

  • We are in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Health Care, and Aetna plans. Prior to your first appointment, you will have the opportunity to provide your insurance information and we will verify benefits on your behalf. Please note, I do not accept any BCBS HMO plans at this time.

  • My current out-of-pocket rate is $175 for each 50-55 minute session. The initial intake session is $200. This amount is due at the time of session. There are limited sliding scale spots. Please feel free to reach out for more information.

    If we do not accept your insurance, you may have out of network benefits. A superbill can be provided for possible reimbursement.

    The No Surprises Act protects consumers who are not using insurance benefits. Bloom & Balance, PLLC will provide an estimate of any expected costs via a Good Faith Estimate (GFE). If you receive a bill for more than $400 over your GFE, you have the right to dispute the bill. Please let you provider know if you have any questions or concerns.

  • I am currently licensed to see clients in both Illinois and Ohio. Clients need to be physically located within one of these states at the time of the appointment.
